
Chemical Peel
Your results greatly depend on your ability to remain consistent with your home care ! By following your pre and post instructions, you are able to reduce possibles risk to none. If pre/post care instructions have been disregarded, the following risks can be associated with this treatment: skin Infections, temporary sensitivity to sun, and post inflammatory hyperpigmentation.
What To Expect:
You may notice your skin slightly red, tight, dry, rough, and dull after you peel. This is common as your skin going through the regeneration process. Approx 3 days after your treatment, you may start to notice possible flaking for the next 3-4 days. Micro flaking is common for some, which means you may not see any visible flaking but that does not mean your skin isn’t actively resurfacing. Your skin will be the most glowy after the shedding has completed!

Redness might be present (and last up to several hours) after peel

Do not pick at shedding or scratch at treated skin. Instead keep moisturized and hydrated.

Avoid strenuous exercise or sweating for 24 hours

Avoid makeup for 24-48 hours

Avoid direct sun exposure for a minimum of 3-4 days.

You may use cool compress after 4 hours if excessive discomfort, burning, redness, or swelling

Always use your SPF during the day and reapply every 2 hours.
After Care Instructions:
During your time of healing, you should only be using products recommended by your esthetician. In order to maintain your results, you’ll want to keep up with you regimen 2 times a day. Skipping your routine will only delay your results so make sure you are consistent! Follow these simple steps in order to ensure the best outcome.

Using your gentle cleanser from the Chemical Peel Kit, gently cleanse the treated area 2x a day. Pat skin dry to avoid friction and further in flammation.

Apply your hydrating mist and/or serum and let absorb completely before moving onto the next step.

Seal your products by gently applying a moisturizer.

Don’t forget to apply your SPF daily!

After your skin has finish peeling, you can go ahead and return to your daily regimen. You may also begin to use your active ingredients after this stage.
